Residents here tend to share very close friendships. It’s all about hall life, getting to know more people and getting closer to them. It is here in hall where all those special memories are created and the one of the important things you take away with you when you graduated and leave hall and NTU… Where else can you experience such special moments but here in Hall 2? Staying up late at night in your friends’ rooms, talking about nothing very important or sharing some really personal thoughts… Washing clothes together with your room-mate, something that you can never do ever again after you leave hall… Going canoeing with your hall-mates during one of the trips organized by the JCRC, splashing about in the seawater and hot sun…

Hall 2 is a very desirable place to stay in as well. It is located in a very central position in NTU, giving you easy access to almost anywhere in the university grounds. Many facilities are located nearby, some of which are within walking distance. Feel like going for a swim? The Sports and Recreational Centre, better known as the SRC amongst the students, is just a 5 minute walk away.

As for meals, Hall 2 residents are served by the Canteen 2. Many people strongly declare that this canteen serves the best food as compared to other halls and their claim is not to be taking lightly. Located close by is Canteen 1 and Café Cartel is also a stone’s throw away. As you can see, Hall 2 residents have a wide variety to choose from when it comes to meal-times. The Nanyang minimarket is located in the heart of Hall 2 and ATM machines can be found here as well.

Although one of the oldest halls in NTU, Hall 2 is actually a very nice place to stay in. Recently renovated, the rooms and furniture make for comfortable living. Also, rooms have an attached bathroom, a feature that many other halls cannot boast of. This feature makes living here especially convenient.
